Spoken Communications Named to the Inc. 500 List of Fastest-Growing Companies for Third Consecutive Year
SEATTLE, August 19, 2015 Spoken Communications, leading provider of a high-availability Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) cloud platform, today announced that Inc Magazine has listed the company on its fastest-growing companies list for the third consecutive year. The 2015 Inc. 500|5000 list ranks America's fastest growing companies across 32 industries. With $22.5 million in revenue in 2014, Spoken has experienced a three-year growth rate of 544% and is currently ranked as the 10th fastest-growing telecommunications company in the United States.
The latest cash infusion enables the company to continue its exponential growth in the cloud market while growing its global marketing and sales capabilities.
"Riverwood Capital focuses on working with proven and disruptive innovators such as Spoken, who we believe is strategically positioned to become a category-leading company in the cloud call center market," said Chris Varelas, a founding Partner of Riverwood Capital. "We have seen first-hand the market traction and growth potential of the company, and this financing is a strong vote of confidence in Spoken's ability to significantly change the way businesses view and deploy customer care services."
The Spoken CCaaS platform includes Avaya cloud digital telephony, automated and human-assisted speech recognition, Citrix virtual agent desktop, secure call recording, advanced reporting and quality assurance applications. In order to provide organizations a place to start into the cloud, each application is available à la carte and can easily be integrated with existing third-party technology, including legacy phone switches (ACDs) or CRM applications.
"The Spoken platform features the type of reliability we need to keep our clients happy," said Martin Ingram, CIO of the business process outsourcing firm Arise Virtual Solutions. "For the first time ever, Black Friday and Cyber Monday ran flawlessly."
Thanks to its live-live, fully geographically redundant configuration providing 99.99% reliability over the last six years, Spoken has experienced over 100% year-over-year growth for the last five years.
"Spoken has perfected a scalable business model that delivers a place to start into the cloud and, ultimately, a reliable and secure future for Avaya and other brand users. The beauty of any cloud-based contact center lies in its scalability. But providing a reliable platform while sustaining considerable growth requires laser-focused execution, and this award confirms the dedication and passion of the Spoken team to do just that," says Simon Crosby, Founder and CTO of Bromium and Spoken Board Member.
